GENERAL INFO

Travelers’ Rest is an all ages festival. Gates open each day at 2pm with music running from 3:30pm to 11:30pm each night. Children 2 & under are free. The event is rain or shine.

Directions

Travelers’ Rest is taking place at Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater located at 5417 Trumpeter Way – Missoula, Montana 59808. The venue is just off Interstate 90 at Airway Heights Blvd, west of downtown Missoula.

ATMs

We have ATMs are available on-site.

Yes, Of Course

Feel free to bring: blankets (no larger than 6’x6’ please), sunscreen, single person portable chairs, empty canteens or factory-sealed bottle of water (1 bottle per person). Small personal bags allowed but are subject to security search.

No Thank You, Please

Please do not bring: Outside food, beverages, animals, umbrellas, weapons, fireworks, multi-person or oversized chairs, professional cameras / video / audio or other recording devices (cell phones are OK), coolers, glass containers or beach balls.

Lost & Found

Lost items should be returned and claimed at the box office or the medical station. Feel free to hand any found item to any of our event personnel

Medical Attention

There is a first aid booth at the festival. If you need any assistance finding the booth, please ask any of our staff members and they will be happy to direct you.

TICKETS

General Admission Tickets

The box office opens at 12pm on Saturday, August 4 and Sunday, August 5. Customers who have tickets held at Will Call can pick them up at the venue box office, located in front of Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater. To claim your tickets, please present a valid photo ID OR the credit card used to purchase the tickets. Tickets are non-refundable.  Big Sky Brewing Company Amphitheater and Knitting Factory Presents are not responsible for tickets purchased from third-party resellers (Stub Hub, Craigslist, VividSeats and unauthorized ticket vendors).

2-Day General Admission ticket holders: We are using a wristband system for entry to the festival. Tickets may be exchanged for a 2-Day General Admission wristband at the main entrance.

PARKING & CAMPING

Parking Info

Parking is FREE and available in our designated parking lots. Look for parking attendants as you approach the venue. Overnight camping, large RV’s, and buses are not permitted in the parking lots. You may also park on the streets surrounding the venue. Please respect our neighbors and do not park in their lots or block their businesses.

Camping

While we do not provide camping space at Travelers’ Rest, the campgrounds below are located within a few minutes of the venue. Please remember that overnight vehicles, campers and trailers are not allowed in the official festival parking lots.

Shuttle Tickets

Travelers’ Rest is pleased to offer a 2-way shuttle service to the festival. The pickup & drop-off locations are in Downtown Missoula and Reserve Street.

** If you selected will call tickets, please check in with the shuttle coordinator at the Reserve Street & Downtown shuttle stops. There is no need to go to the venue box office for your shuttle tickets.

 

FOOD & BEVERAGE

A variety of local food vendors will be available for sale on site. Beer, wine, water and soda will be available for purchase. Be sure to bring a valid ID for alcohol service. Outside food and beverages are not permitted with exception of an empty canteen or factory sealed bottles of water (1 bottle per person).

Travelers’ Rest is presented on a grass lawn setting. A limited number of spaces are held in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
